Autoscopy

Image
Good morning! In this post, I'll be showing off my Autoscopy project. The autoscopy project was really interesting! I got really creative with this one and decided to not only put colors that represent the different backgrounds and people I've encountered in life but I also put the mountain "The peeks of otters" in the background at the center of my head. I did this because even though I grew up in Florida, I also kinda grew up in Virginia too. The mountain is the closest one to my grandparents house and I have even hiked it multiple times. I wish the other versions of the autoscopy came out better but if I figure out how to improve upon them, I will update this post! I made this project in photoshop.

MULTIPLICITY

Image
Good Morning! In this post, I'll be sharing my Multiplicity project. I'm going to be honest, this was one of my favorite projects to mess around in. It was so cool being able to place multiple of myself in one room. It was also fun coming up with ideas and concepts for the project. If there was one thing I would add, It would be to put something on the T.V. so it would look like I'm watching it. Besides that, this project was awesome! I made this project using photoshop.

BW TO COLOR

Image
Good Morning! In this post, I made three posters that turned a black and white photo of myself into a mix of colors in each one. One of them I used an analogous colors. Another I used Monochromatic. And the last one I used Triadic to make my poster. This project was a little weird but I enjoyed it. I had a great time picking out the colors along with making the posters themselves. I made this project in photoshop.

Poster

Image
Good Morning! In this post, I made a poster using only five colors. This time I got a picture that didn't make me that creepy in the final product! I think this project was really fun to make and experiment on. The reason why I chose these 5 colors is because the different shades of blue are often a calm color while the color on the words are orange and pop out because of it. Orange is also sometimes depicted with happiness or laughter. My message behind this poster is that a smile from anyone, even from yourself, can brighten your day and make you feel better! I made this using photoshop.

Calligram

Image
Good Morning! In this post I made a Calligram of myself and used words from a short letter I wrote to my future self. I liked the idea for this project and I feel I did my best. It is a little creepy to look at but at least it looks neat! I think my biggest struggle with this project was trying to fit certain words in certain spaces. This was my first time doing a Calligram and it was a good learning experience to make sure you have the right words and to make sure the picture you use isn't creepy. I used illustrator to make this.

Logos/ Biz cards

Image
Good Morning! I made this logo along with the business cards using illustrator. I originally had 5 ideas for a logo. Out of the words of Joyful, Kind, Creative, Gamer, and Energetic... I chose Creative. I'm very familiar to the adobe programs like photoshop and illustrator so it was really fun to use these programs again. For the business card designs I wanted to use the color purple because, to me, the color purple sticks out. I've also add the inspiration for the creative logo in this post. One the coolest things I learned from this project is that illustrator can make 3D objects!

HTML5 Canvas (C.A.T.)

Image
Good Morning! This is my HTML5 project I call C.A.T. It is a robotic cat character I created and it took over 1500 lines of code to program this picture in Dreamweaver. I had a lot of fun making this picture and playing around with different sets of coding. The hardest part of this project was fixing the ears. When I was working on it, the ears wouldn't have color in them and the color would be wrong but I eventually figured out the problem. The error was because I made a spelling error in the code involving the ears. This project has at least taught me to not only double check my spelling and code but to also write down my code so I may review it and make changes to it before I forget while typing it in!
